Top review for a book by A.N. Roquelaure
Lauren wrote a review on The Vampire Lestat (Vampire Chronicles)
If you have read Interview With a Vampire, then The Vampire Lestat (in my opinion) will be a good read as well. Notice that I didn't say sequel. The book, technically, is a sequel. But it goes before and beyond the events of Interview With a Vampire. Anne Rice delivers a fantastic novel about one of the essential characters in her Vampire Series. It's got as much of the wonderful vampire stuffs as Interview and more. In my opinion? Just as good as Interview if you had read that. You might not have to read Interview first, but it can't hurt...unless you give into the charismatic and elaborate character that is Lestat. Watch out for those teeth!

The Vampire Lestat novels are the most rich and colorful stories I have ever read. He is unique in this genre and you will fall in love with the character at the very beginning until the very end............ My favorite novels of all time and I will never part with my collection! Lestat will make you laugh and cry. You think you are going to hate him but you will come away with compassion for this vampire.........

Read Interview w/the Vampire when I was 14. Didn't appreciate it then. Want to re-read all the Vampire Chronicles, now that I'm older.

to Fully Alive: I do not believe that Anna repents any of her work. I recently saw an interview of hers where she sais that she wont write anymore books about witches of vimpires, but she loves all of her books and characters. These works let her to what she is now. And if you have read any of her non relegious books, you would have seen how spiritual they are.

i am a fan of anne rice because she now writes Christian boooks. She has recently come to know Christ as her Lord and Saviour and says she repents of writing all that horror and sex stuff. I admire her because she took a gift and turned it into a way to glorify God! Thank you Anne Rice!

I was introduced to author Anne Rice from a book I bought for one dollar at a yard sale 15 years ago. Interview with the Vampire. I read that book five times and the life she gave Lestat had me hooked. Her descriptions of the old New Orleans building, especially the church, were in detail and I could vision them. I feel in love with her writings and purchased everyone she wrote. Needing an escape from my life, I found that in her writings. From Lestat to the Mayfair witches her talent shines.

I have been an Anne Rice Fan for over 15 years and I can't think of anything that is ever going to change that. My biggest respect for her writing comes for her unfailing ability to research and thoroughly know the surrondings of her story. A true inspiration.
