French aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupery obtained his pilot's licence in 1922 and worked as an aviator, a test pilot, and a reporter for Paris-Soir in the 1930s. Antoine De Saint-Exupery was one of the very first people to fly mail to place to place and it was then that he had crashed, he tells this in another of his books and explains his full life in The Little Prince.
