Biography
French aviator and writer Antoine de Saint-Exupery obtained his pilot's licence in 1922 and worked as an aviator, a test pilot, and a reporter for Paris-Soir in the 1930s. He served in the French air force in North Africa during World War II and was shot down over the Mediterranean in 1944. His best-known book is THE LITTLE PRINCE, a child's fable for adults. He is also the author of NIGHT FLIGHT, based on his own experiences, and three other novels, all of which are about the pleasures and dang more...

Antoine De Saint-Exupery was one of the very first people to fly mail to place to place and it was then that he had crashed, he tells this in another of his books and explains his full life in The Little Prince.
