I love Jane Austen's other books, but this one was a struggle to get though, primarily becaue I didn't really like many of the charaters. Fanny Price was way too passive, and I hated how she let everyone walk all over her. And, Edmund was such a selfish d*%k. During most of the book, instead of focusing on the original plot, I kept thinking of ways that Fanny could enact her revenge against her aunts, cousins, and the Crawfords. The only redeeming aspect of the book was it's potential a la Pride and Prejudice and Zombies. Perhaps Fanny cracks and ends up being the "Sociopath of Mansfield Park"?
