Garth Williams illustrated several classic books for children including STUART LITTLE and CHARLOTTE'S WEB, both written by E. B. White, as well as all the books in Laura Ingalls Wilder's "Little House" series. Williams and his family moved around a lot during his childhood, giving him the opportunity to live not only in the United States, but also Canada and England.
