A bit slow starting out. You feel lost at first when Nouwen is talking about these different Fathers and Mothers of a Christian Order, but you start to get it after a while. I felt the last section on Prayer was the best through addressing how to pray in today's world. It also ties the chapters on Solitude and Silence together and brings the text full circle. Short read and worth it.
