Showing latest 10 See all I have read all the series so far and some of them more than once but all in the last year and have enjoyed them very much, it would be a shame for the next book to be of lesser quality so take your time and enjoy the process of creation after all that is what Ayla would do. BOOK 6 STATUS:
Jean is currently writing the 6th book in the Earth's Children series. Until she has the final draft ready for her editor, there will be no estimated publication dates or title from authentic sources.
If she was deceased or otherwise incapacitated, it would be all over the news and Internet within minutes. Just remember, she is a perfectionist, and probably OCD, not to mention under an enormous amount of pressure from her fans. How many times have you read the other books so far? How many times have you read the last one? Do you realize how many people will be scrutinizing her every word, figuratively and quite literally? Jean doesn’t want to make even the smallest faux pas, let alone something significant that would, when you think about it, destroy a good many fans; the magic and believability factor would be
Trust me, I’ve been waiting too, and if I am ever so fortunate enough to be blessed with a daughter of my own, I will name her Ayla.
With that being said, here is something for you all to ponder. I cannot prove or verify this, but it is rumored that Jean said it is going to take TWO (2) more books to complete the saga of Ayla’s life story, and finish the Earth’s Children series.
Perhaps this is why it’s taking so long. Just remember everyone, “Patience is a virtue.”
