Showing latest 10 See all People always ask me who my favorite author is and I used to say I don't know or I would list who I liked it. But now if someone ask me I will say Karen Kingsbury for many reason. One reason is because her book on Redemption helped through a hard time in my life. I needed to hear what it had to say. Another reason is because I was watching an interview about her and I litteraly cried. She's such a strong woman and I was inspried. I want to be that strong and that in love with Christ. Thanks Karen. Karen, I picked up one of your books at a truck stop one summer and had a hard time putting it down...that book was "A Moment of Weakness." I have read several others and really appreciate how you make Christianity relevant to today's audience. Many times as Christians we are discouraged by hard times, but I have found that those hard times define who I am as a Child of God. They help me to stay grounded in Christ and most of all to know that God is here yesterday, today and tomorrow IF we just reach out to Him. Thank you for your incredible books. You books are my favourite one to read, they touch the very essence of life and show us so much about ourselves. I have waited over six months to get my last book in the summer series and can't wait to read it. Karen inspires me to always search for the good in my life and see God in all the little things around me.
Once I pick up one of these books, it stays on my mind until I finish it. And there is plenty of other things on my mind as well with 4 kids of my own and a daycare to run!!! |

This is my favorite author and this is the begining of a series and I have read everyone of them. They are modern stories about the Baxter Family. When you read one, you will read them all before you stop. They are very uplifting. She is a Christian writer. They are fiction but so real.
