Canadian author Lucy Maud Montgomery was raised by her grandparents. She began submitting articles to magazines when she was 11 and, by the time she was 21, she was earning a living as a writer. Montgomery's first novel, ANNE OF GREEN GABLES, was published in 1908 and was an instant success. During her lifetime, she wrote 23 novels, an autobiography, and hundreds of short stories and poems.

one of my fav books of the series it was almost as good as the first 1 i felt that anne had grown asd a person n i luved that she wuz with gilbert she goes though alot i cried alot n felt for her as if she wuz my best friend and laughed with her . the only scene i hate was the wedding i feel lik anne would describe the whole thing with her input on how she n gilbert look how she felt how beautifel the place was how this was a dream come true but they lik skiped all that
