Great book, Though I just read "Magician" which i believe is both this book and it's prequel - why they've been split i don't know, as it kinda makes the trilogy a trilogy in four parts - kinda like Hitchhikers, anyway enough of this! Great book, massive scope to the story and the way it all evolves is brilliant. One of the things i like about it is the growth throughout, Pug loves his home, but due to everything grows apart from it, and finds that he struggles to go back to it once he can, because his responsibilities are too great. Just a little idea, but one which I loved - It does appear in Harry Potter, but personally i think it's much more eloquently put. Also the writing style throughout the book - even the trilogy - is easy to read continually and helps you through what could be an arduous read. Reccomended for those who like Harry Potter, but want to have a look at something just a little bit darker with a much grander scope.
