He is definately my favourite author!!! I read all his work!!!! Love all his work: Children book: humourous and funny and unexpected, short story: cleverly planned, somehow with a touch of the darkness; adult story, showed the even darker side of human

I grew up reading Ronald Dahl!!! I used to escape into charlies Factory where I cold eat all the chocolates... Thanks for the greatest books a child could ask for!!!

Dahl was a fantastic children's novelist, but he also wrote a collection of short stories for adults that I highly recommend reading

I was so sad when he passed away. Now I can share his books with my children. A magnificent, imaginative collection of works.

in primary one, my teacher would pass out roald dahl's bk and everyone would snatch for it.. it was that gd that even young children who could barely read LOVED his wit and imagination :D... till now .. many years later I LOVE HIS BKS :D

My childhood would not have been complete if it weren't for his books. I read them over and over and encouraged my students to read them as a 4th grade teacher. His work was truthful, inspired, and imaginative and I loved every second I was able to escape into his pages.
