An Editor-at-Large for Outside Magazine, Tim Cahill has been writing travel and adventure stories since the 1960s and is well known for his ability to combine risk with humor and insight. Born in Wisconsin in 1944, Cahill received an M.A. in Creative Writing from San Francisco State University.
