I have read and own all her books....can't get enough of her!.....always waiting for the next book! This is my favorite of all V.C. Andrew series. I also enjoyed the whole Castell family series. I wish they would make more movies out of her books, but make it worth while because Flowers in the Attic was butchered movie wise. |

finally a happy ending for the dolls? well i didnt get right through to the end before mum found the book and made me take it back but i got the distinct impression not.
Misogyny abounds (even seemingly from the author of the book) there is plenty of sex. All women are evil temptresses and men are scarred for life by their mothers, grandmothers and lovers.
And hate and desire for revenge at every turn is stronger and more relentless than that insipid and bubbly thing that passes for love in these books. Genuine love doesn't exist in the dystopian emotional landscape of these books.
