I wanted to update my review: this is a great book and I fear some will get stuck on the title because of the word "code". The bottom line is think like a missionary and stop expecting people to leap our cultural hurdles to become Christians. Its a gretbook.
My guess is some people will struggle with the "breaking code" term and it might block their hearing the message. It's not a secret code but perhaps better entitled, "Getting rid of extra-biblical cultural baggage that keeps you from connecting to your community". That would be too long a title but the contents are good and worth hurdling the phrases that might turn off some readers who fear it is another "method" or that the book suggest compromise. It speaks to the opposite. Good reading and references.
