I loved this book. So descriptive and it felt like I lived in that time when I read it. See the movie it is pretty good.|
Showing latest 10 See all I Started with The Other Boleyn Girl and was so addicted to learning about the Tudor era during and after reading the book. I immediately went into reading The Boleyn Inheritance, though I was a little torn about whether to read The Boleyn Inheritance next or The Constant Princess next. One question...there is no book about Jane Seymour. She is discussed a little in The Other Boleyn Girl, but then skipped over for the Boleyn Inheritance, where it started off with Anne of Cleves. I'm curious whey there wasn't more about Jane Seymour, from her persective. After reading The other boleyn girl, I've become obsessed with the tudor/elizabethan era. The book is much better than the movie. I just finished the boleyn inheritance and am reading the other queen now. Im addicted!! I am the same I keep wanting to read her books. I studied history and am a trained history teacher but have never studied or had an interest in Royalty of England. I saw The Other Boleyn Girl movie and thought 'now thats a book I must read' after reading it I was hooked and have been reading the other books of the Tudor Series. Just starting Book number 3 of Philippa Gregorys. Highly recommend as a great read!!! |
