I actually really like Fanny Price, even though her character is extremely meek and timid, which would normally repulse me in a heroine. I really despised Mrs Norris though, I wanted her to die every time she opened her stupid mouth! And as for Dan's review... wow. I recall almost all of the male characters, except Edmund and William, being immensely self-centered and verging on the edge of stupidity and offence throughout most of their actions. This book is probably not for everyone though, in my opinion.
