Joey Perrone is tossed off of a cruise ship by her slimy husband, Chaz, on their anniversary. He has been falsifying water pollution levels for an equally slimy farmer who is dumping into the waters of the Everglades and Chaz believes that Joey is onto the scheme.
Joey survives the watery plunge and is recued by Mick, an ex-cop who lives out in the middle of nowhere. They partner up to teach Chaz a lesson.
