K, the narrator is in love with Sumire, a girl he met in college. Sumire is in love with Miu, a married business woman. Got your attention yet? K soon gets a call from Miu about Sumire's disappearance during a trip to Greece and he makes the trip to help look for her. I can't write anymore than that without giving it away but I would definitely recommend this book. Very easy and quick to read but includes a lot of thought and meaning throughout. This is the first book that has made me want to stay up through the night to finish in a very long time. About 200 pages. The prose is beautiful, the characters easily distinguished and the story interesting.
