I actually bought two books that were sequels to Pride and Prejudice, but started reading it and wasn't impressed at all. It was like the lady whom wrote those books, bought Pride and Prejudice into the 21 century. I loved Pride and Prejudice and the time frame it was set in. I think that is why people love it so much.
