Has mankind been kind to fellow mankind and to Mother Nature, nurturing her as we should, over the history of life on earth? No way!
We have warred against one another, killed one another en masse, raped one another, stolen from one another, vented our frustrations on loved ones, destroyed our environment and nature in general, we have acted very selfishly to attain luxury, power, wealth and to be eternally entertained.
As Roger Waters of Pink Floyd so rightly says in the lyrics of the song Amused To Death, "this species[mankind] has amused itself to death".
What does Barak Obama mean when he speaks repeatedly of the New World Order, as do many Western leaders at present. Is this part of globalisation; one world government, one world economy, one world currency, or the five continental currencies(e.g. the Euro), world trade regime, NATO, NAFTA, the United Nations.
It pains me to know whothe people and organisations are who benefit from the "new world order" and "globalisation".
What's up? Is this once again for the "benefit" of mankind? I think not. What do you think? Let's thrash it out.
