The first book I read of Coelho was The Alchemist. It was brilliant, I thought at the time. I've read as well the Warrior of light. But my absolute favourite is The Witch of Portobello. I started the book on a bus journey to Athens and couldn't put it down. It's one of the books you start and have to finish. It's simply fascinating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a coincidence..the first book that I read was "El Alquimista" also, I Read it when I was 12 and since then he is my favorite author, is amazing the way he writes and the messages that the book left,,,i just love reading his novels

My first book of paolo Coelho was too The Alchemist.Its an amazanig book.Since then he is one of my favourite authors.!!!

his words are deep, brilliant and meaningful from any different aspect. You have to search beneath every sentence to make it clear..what an author indeed!
