Hi. I have been to a few signings in the Chicago / Milwaukee area, and I am a huge fan, along with my husband and my daughter. Laurell was also my mom's favorite author and sharing the books with her meant a lot to both of us. Mom died two years ago, and I just wanted to thank Laurell for such a wonderful part of our lives. At my first signing, I bought Guilty Pleasures and had Laurell sign it "thanks for babysitting" - it was her favorite book. (My husband & I had talked with Laurell after a couple of signings, but I doubt if she remembers)
I just want you to know that your books helped me through a really hard time. I had to move to England and left everyone I loved behind to be with my husband and then he was sent to Qatar and left me and my daughter here and your books helped me your a wonderful author and keep doing it because I will keep reading. Thank you
I first found the Anita Blake series a few years ago and got hooked on them i then learned of the Meridith Gentry book and now im hooked on those as well they just can`t get published fast enough for my liking
After stumbling over my first book by Laurell K Hamilton a few years back I am now hooked on her books.

I can relate to another's post. I was in our small town bookstore and I usually ask the sale's people to "pick me out a new read." I was led to Guilty Pleasures and Anita Blake captured me then. I am just now reading Blood Noir and am thrilled that the series continues on. I love Ms. Hamilton's books and find myself sad to finish the latest publication, because I cannot wait for the next one to hit the shelves.

A few years ago, I was at the bookstore looking for a new vampire series to read. That's when I came across the Anita Blake series. Once I read the summary on the back of one of the books, I knew I had to buy the entire series right there (There were 10 at the time). I ended up reading all 10 books in 12 days!! These are amazing books! Thank you, Ms. Hamilton!

Laurell K. Hamilton Is by far my favorite writer. I always fall into the world she creates. It's hard for me to put her books down. I can read them in a day or two. I can really fall into the characters too. I had to stop reading the Anita books because i was having gory dreams. Awesome!
