This was a brilliant book and much much better than the film as the film doesnt say anything like what the book does (but then never does), a must-read for anyone who likes historical fiction and who wants an insight for England in 1500
A look back at a time in history where women were treated as lesser mortals it had me wishing the out come could be different but at least one sister escaped ..... a great book
Unchallenging but enjoyable. I found myself willing the ending to be different and not able to put it down despite this being such a well known part of history. Very reflective of the travails of women which I sometimes think haven't changed that much.
Exceptionally well written. A real page-turner. An engrossing story from the perspective of the "other Boleyn girl" which offers much more than your average history book! This is Philippa Gregory at her best
