My favorite book that I first read in school. While everyone else was a Catcher in the Rye fanboy suddenly, I thought this book was amazing.

Show boating and boasting about money, is un couth now, but it wasnt in the 20's where a driven but poor man named Jimmy Getz, or later changed to Gatsby, who comes from white trash, rises up to the ranks of millionaires within a few years.He does it for one girl named Daisy, who inspiration causes him to go from poor dirt farmer to a novea riche social climber.After he becomes rich, he searches out Daisy. He moves to her neighbourhood, and rents a house to Nick Caraway Daisy cousin. Nick Caraway is man with class who narrarates the entire novel. He throws huge parties in hope that Daisy well show up.
