There's something about her writing that's entertaining. On the other hand, her actual style is atrocious. Every bloody sentence is a new paragraph. There's something about her writing that's entertaining. On the other hand, her actual style is atrocious. Every bloody sentence is a new paragraph. She goes off on these incredible tangents all the time that have nothing to do with anything. She explains and whines and states the obvious over and over again. And yet I quite enjoyed it. Such a great light read......Marian Keyes gets it just right every time........ Note - it really helps when you are reading this book if you are familiar with British/Irish ways of speaking .......Such as the fact that a pram is what we call a stroller, Coo-eey is like our hello, etc etc, A really funny read!

Oh my god! I've found others that are as addicted to chick lit as I am. And to Marian Keyes too! I've got all of her books and I've read them at least a few times each. There's always something else to pick up on. She's an amazing writer.
