Another lovely book by Marian Keyes dealing with the Walsh Family. Middle Child Rachel, after what she considers 'recreational drug taking' find herself in a drug/alcohol/gambling/food rehabilitation center. Hold the glamor and ritz. She is forced to deal with her problems and is guided through a journey of self-discovery. A great novel, absolutely hilarious. The Flashbacks on her romance with her-ex-bf are cute and wonderful. They're making a movie out of the film, though I can't say I'm excited. This is simply a novel that you don't want to have butchered by a film interpretation. My favorite Marian Keyes Novel. 9/10    hide

This is the first Marian Keyes book I ever read and I must say it's still my fav, even though its the second in the Walsh Family series you don't have to have read Watermelon to understand this family. This is the first Marian Keyes book I ever read and I must say it's still my fav, even though its the second in the Walsh Family series you don't have to have read Watermelon to understand this family. Whats interesting about the Walsh family is that no mater which of Marian's books you read that you find out new things about each characters through a new persons eyes. Rachael as a main character makes you laugh as much as she makes you cry, everyone should have a friend like Bridget and who wouldn't want 'real man' Luke to snuggle up with. Yes its classed a chick lit but don't be fooled its as funny as it is sad!! as must read.   hide

I loved every bit of this book> I find it hard alot of the time to laugh.... i mean when i really mean it and not just put on....i really did laugh out loud to this book but why stop there .... read them all. They take a different member of the family in each book and its just full time pain in your face like you were a kid sort of laughs. ( but not really for kids) Come back to me on this one...more
