My least favorite in the Chronicles so far. Maybe it was cause I wasn't paying attention...but than again if an author can't MAKE you pay attention, they aren't doing that great.
definitely written as a children's story but it has beautiful philosophical and theological imagery for adults as well regarding "what is real?" and "what is worth believing?" Not the depth of story as Tolkien has, but that's not to say it is worse.
A good book, with the climax of the series set up in the pages herein, though I won't tell just what that is. I found the end to a be a little anti-climactic, but a good read nonetheless.
