Princess Diaries: 1

I must say that this book was not what I was expecting. I wanted to read the books because I have and love the movies, but the books are hardly the same. I like the books, but at the same time I don't. To put it simply, I feel that there are some aspects of the books that are better than the movie, and vice versa.

It wasn't bad. But I could almost say that the movie was better! The title seems very boring, but it gets more interesting as a young self-conscious girl learns she's a princess. Her attitude was funny, but started to drive me crazy after a while. But, clearly I liked it enough that I read the following 3 sequels!

Nice series. Funny and interesting. I learned many words that use in causal chat in foreign countries. But I only read this series until "Princess Diaries: The seventh heaven". I am kinda longing to reading the eighth book!!

Enjoyable book. The movies are two of my favorite movies of all time, so the book was sort of a let down. There are so many differences. The series is directed at a pre-teen/teenage audience, but was still a good book. I look forward to reading the others in this series to see how they pan out.
