Interesting. Recommended by an acquaintance working at a Fortune 500 company. Some of the examples are dead on. The analogies are a little too obvious.

A must read for anyone in product planning, designing, developing and marketing. An amazing message conveyed using simple analogies

I still find this relevant for new product development...I re-read it once a year.

Great book though I think it could be shorter. Marketing, positioning and trying to make your product jump over that sustainability point, the chasm.

The first 3 chapters were a bit disappointing. You get the feeling, that's very old and doesn't hold anymore. Then comes the deep thoughts from chapter 4 up to the end of the book. I would love to see a new edition applied with more new examples from the end of this decade. I was lucky enough to live through the changes of the past decade to a little extent which gave me some doubts on...more
