Always a fan of Gaiman's story telling, i enjoyed how he used the spirits in this one with the 'Jacks'.

I really, really enjoyed this book. It was absolutly one of the best books i have ever read. Neil Gaimen did a great job about telling the readers about the adventures that the boy had. It was descriptive and detailed. Siply amazing. :D

A very good book. Beautifully written and the illustrations provide a wonderful backdrop. You get a very real sense of who the main character (Nobody) is, and his underlying sadness. In fact, I found the book to be full of this pervading sadness. You feel for the boy, and his plight. The character of Silas, his guardian is a very intriguing person. Really enjoyed this book. The Newberry Award confused me though. SInce it said for children I was thinking my 7 year old might like it. It quickly became clear to me that this aimed more at tweenrs and teens. For instance the book begins with a triple homicide and would have scared me to death if I was seven.
