more Anticlimactic, to say the least. The author's premise leaves great potential for humor, as well as for a the possibility of successful revenge, in the case of a woman who has been wronged to no end in highly extreme (although humorous) ways. However, again, the villain getting away with his atrocious behavior, scott-free, makes this a hard pill to swallow. Worse, a woman who was already betrayed by her lover now, by the book's end, must cope with "best friend" successfully pursuing the villain and ending up becoming his NEW girlfriend. Suffice it to say that this book seems to take the boyfriend's inexcusable behavior as being rewardable, encourages deceit on the part of the protagnist's "friend," and expects readers to feel pleased by the outcome.
