Neverwhere: A Novel

Very vivid the way the author described the London Underground (if I remember it right). The words were like oil and brush, making a clear picture of the story right inside your head.

I didn't like Neil Gaiman's book "Neverwhere," and I didn't have higher hopes for "American Gods." Turns out, I loved it! They seem to have been written by different authors. "American Gods" is original, imaginative and well-written. Very enjoyable! Interesting ideas, but not well-developed or well-written.

A very dear friend handed me this novel, and I thank her for introducing me to Gaiman.

Great book, which is also on the top of my list as being one of his best books. Neverwhere keeps you interested but is also pretty predictable.
