I think it is such a blessing for us to be able to read what C.S.Lewis has to say about both the world and the world beyond. You see, the whole idea of Christianity, the afterlife, God sacrificing his Son, etc.. they are all really difficult to grasp, especially for non-belivers. Lewis managed to break in down into a simple picture. Within Mere Christianity, there are 4 volumes (4 books) which are dedicated to different topics. Essentially, we are able to be addressed on all levels. Human beings generally need reasoning to be convinced and Lewis has done a perfect job. You need to have a first hand experience in reading this book as well as have a first hand experience with God. I especially like the 1st volume and also the 2nd last chapter of the 4th volume. 5 stars from me.   hide
