It was nice to see Kidd's change from obvious discomfort in one set of beliefs to being able to speak openly and in an educated manner about another. Perhaps I enjoy her story due to the fact that I can relate to her feelings quite easily. Often the situations she discussed were ones that I had experienced myself. I also enjoyed the fact that while certain belief systems are not for her, she does not discredit or stomp all over them as is often the case when someone declares a path. I completely agree with the idea that spirituality is an ever-changing and life-long journey. Overall it was an enjoyable read that I am glad I picked up on a whim.
