All-American Girl Samantha Madison is back in this sex-obsessed sequel. I really liked the first book (I actually own it), but, frankly, this one bored me. It seemed to me that the author was trying too hard to insert pop culture references, and in the process I felt that Sam lost some of the qualities which made me like her in the first place! The best moment in the book is when all the kids in the cafeteria at her exclusive prep school stand up and declare themselves sluts. That's actually a high point in the story. Enough said.   hide

I loved the first book, but this book was...terrible. Sam and David especially seem completely out of character. Sam went from a girl with a lot of spunk, itelligence, and talent to some weird fusion of emopunk and slut. David lost all personality to...hormones. There really is no plot except 'are they gonna do it or not'. In all honesty, I was bitterly disapointed in this book and more...more

This book is a essential for every teenage girl. I learned more sex education from this book than I ever did in school, but it's not preachy or fact filled. It's a story we can all realate to: a story of a girl deciding if she is ready or not.

The first one I think was better...and I was rather surprised to find out that in the end,Sam ended up having sex with David anyway =S even though she had thought she would tell him she wanted to wait..hmm.
