I've been marvelling for ages how I, a Flip in the US, can relate so much with this Irish woman's characters. With Anna for example, our jobs were related. Well, my former job in Advertising-Media, that is. And, while reading this, I got to thinking, "What if the same things happen to me, how would I cope?" She has her best friend and a sister in the same city. I do have one of my best friends nearby but when we get transferred to another base, I have absolutely no one. Guess I'd just have to suck it up, huh.
Of the 4 Walsh books, I'd put this tied at the top with Rachel's Holiday
