It was better than I expected, seeing as it was written by Meg Cabot. A lot of her teenage books are simple, predictable, and with incredibly similar characters. I won't lie - the main female character was pretty similar to all of Meg's lead roles. This was a bit irritating. But the theme of King Arthur made the story enjoyable, and quite interesting. Perhaps if the main character was stronger, and didn't think about her love life for most of the book, it would have gotten four stars rather than three. All in all, a quick teen read to borrow from the library for your holidays, if you want something easy which you don't need to think about. But not one I'd feel the need to read again.   hide
