A stunning piece of literature. The raw emotion of it is a little overwhelming at times, to the extent that I had to put it down and walk away. The edition I bought contains an essay at the rear entitled "How Bigger was born". This, too, is a classic piece of work providing fascinating insights into how the book came together.
