Pact

This is the book by Piccoult that made me a follower of her work. I love her!!!

I had to put this book down at one point and just couldn't bring myself to finish. Finally after about a month, I was able to pick it up again. Another great Picoult book!

Some readers seem to have misunderstood this book. Emily Gold plans to kill herself, but can't go through with it, and her boyfriend takes the gun from her, and when he embraces her, both her hand and his are on the trigger and it gets pressed. it in no way says that it's morally acceptable to take a persons life in any situation. I enjoyed this read.
