more A really good read, that resonates deeply with me. I can add Codi Noline to my list of favorite book characters. This is a bittersweet story that revisits the late 1980's for me--when idealistic people went to do good in Central America and for their trouble some lost their lives....I was not one of them, of course. But I love the basic principle laid out in the story---to live your OWN life, and live it fully; don't get caught up in making yourself lesser or "smaller" just because you think you didn't do anything great. And also don't beat yourself up because of mistakes that were made. They made you who you were, too.
