Dennis is a Southland treasure- one of my Prager radio hour favorites is the Happiness Hour. "Tell the truth, then give your opinion," he recites. Mr. Prager contends, even if you ain't happy, fake it- play the part and eventually you'll get there. "The happy make the world better, the unhappy make it miserable- displaying misery on to others is like releasing...more

A great book discussing what is happiness, how to "be" happy, and very importantly why you should be happy from an ethical perspective. Their is real wisdom in this book presented in a very approachable manner.

Short but sweet. A series of essays, organized into short chapters, each of which examines and comments on some aspect of happiness/unhappiness from a Judeo-Christian perspective. The title is somewhat deceiving, but this book is filled with wit and wise advice on a serious issue in modern culture.

A little too pedantic, but he makes such an important point -- and I respect his thinking so greatly -- that it's still worthwhile reading.

This is a 'self-help book' that everyone should read. It takes a new approach to happiness and what actually contributes to happiness (as apposed to what many people perceive as happiness). I love Dennis Prage (even though he is a Conservative talking head) and his quest to find clarity in all topics (rather than what is right and wrong).
