Having watched Hellraiser the plot came as no surprise but all in all much creepier than the film. The cenobites are much better realised.

Good. The short story that spawned Hellraiser. Provides some depth of characters (mainly Frank) that the movie did not portray.

Classic Barker at his best. The story that inspired the entire Hellraiser mythos. This novella really delves into Frank's involvement with LeMarchand's box. Awesome read.

Clive Barker is the proven master of the imagination, and The Hellbound Heart shows this yet again. Even in a very short format, he manages to convey a terrible, but interesting tale.
