An introduction to the Disc's most famous witch, this takes a brilliant idea (a female wizard) and runs with it too hilarious effect, even if the end seems like a bit of a cop out.

These Discworld things are a bit like potato chips. Hard to have just one.

Not quite as good as the first in the series, but it has it's good moments. It's doesn't try to be as funny as his others, it's almost serious.

Fun and easy, just about what you expect from a Terry Pratchett Discworld novel.

Decent. Intoduces Granny Weatherwax the bits with her in are the best, the rest of the book suffer slightly. This was wrote back when TP has more of a fantasy angle rather than than the satire approach as seen in his later books. Well worth reading tho'
