The Colour of Magic

This book is amazing, I want to get my hands on all the rest now too. It's a cross between Douglas Adams and Tolkien. Rivetingly satirical, bitingly witty, pokes fun at itself and other sci-fi/fantasy books (in this one I saw references to Anne MacCaffrey's Pern series). Again absolutely amazing, I love the Discworld.

I own it in print. I own it on CD. I own the movie. In other words, I like it.

While different from my usually genre I loved this book. I enjoyed the humor and pure silliness in it. At times I had to double check to make sure I read what I just thought I read and then laugh. I can't wait to get the other books in the discworld series.
