Bean Trees 10th Anniv

this was the first barbara kingsolver book i read...i think it was in my 10th grade honors english class, and i liked it so much i started to read her other books. appreciate the rich characters and story telling.

Very enjoyable, easy read. Not too deep. Just a nice story

A great story. I love the way that Kingsolver sees the world -- through the eyes of a lyrical biologist.

Taylor ventures on her own across the country and inherits the one thing she wanted to avoid. While in some parts unrealistic, this story is all about the power of the female!
