i think the main thing i took away from this book is the rendemption that comes from acceptance whether it be of your family members, you neighbours or your fellow man. Atticus has to be one of the hottest literary figures ever, the right combintion of desirable (he is single after all) and someone you admire so much you wish you were him.

one of the best books i have ever read. simple. heartfelt. compelling. a man doing the right thing at the right moment...when all the pressure of society tells him no, he says yes. compelling.
