This was the first Jodi Picoult novel I've ever read...and it definitely did NOT disappoint! The bond between Chris Harte and Emily Gold is fascinating, albeit a little creepy. Picoult does an excellent job of portraying the nature of this bond to the reader...and that is very important when it comes to understanding the actions of Chris and Emily. The book also provides helpful insight on the...more

This book was so good, yet depressing. Just make sure you have a lot of Kleenex around before starting it. Jodi Picoult is an amazing author, whatever she writes has such depth that it makes you feel like you are a part of these character's lives. It's powerful stuff, man.
