Stephenson never bores, never disappoints, and never fails to open your brain and pour in a bunch of cool new ideas.

An amazing and rewarding read - no praxic bulshytt saying so. Neal's discursive style burdens the narrative at times, but in the end, it's his attention to detail that brings Arbre to life.

Fascinating world building. Complex.

Good story, some interesting ideas about QM, but not terribly new. Snow Crash, Diamond Age, and Cryptonomicon were the peaks.

Top notch scientific and adventurous edu-tainment.

Not every book you read is able to change your whole perception of the world..

Physics and philosophy are the coin's two faces in this sprawling, compelling alternative-universe novel. Stay with it - it opens cold and you are far, far from home. By the end, you'll be thinking about the symbolic meaning of 'home' in such a way as to render wherever you are 'home' - or something. Heh.

What you've come to expect from Stephenson. This book is very good, and a must read for fans of the author, or sci-fi fans in general. Excellent.
