Hmmm. Some interestingly written scenes in the book, but I must say it seemed very confusing between the Sun and the Moon ways and the other "teachings" throughout the book. I listened on audio and thought this should help, but it really didn't. It seems like this was a setup for future series given the buildup to the finale. I suggest trying other Coelho books.

An interesting insight into the world of the magical arts.A must read for all those who want to know something about this magical world which has had a rebirth as the science of the new age.It is not much as a story but its worth lies in the details it provides into the art and sciience of magic or witchcraft,very close to what we in our lore call sufiism.
This is Simply Paulo, whos takes us in the ride describing about soulmates in his own very style. There are some invaluable truths told in this book, especially i loved the ones when Brida talks about her father. My favourite part the at the end i.e. the conversation between Magus and Brida for the last time. Its quite emotional and truly touching...
So this is my first Paulo Coehlo book and I absolutely loved it. Coehlo packs a surprising punch in this simply written book - this is one of those books that people either hate or love. Coehlo explores spirituality, and the search for true love/soulmate in the most unusual way. This will be an amazing read for ppl in the west but for eastern culture which has thousand and thousand of years of culture of Zen,Buddhism & Vedas & Upanishads this book will be a packaged version of greater eastern philosophy.
