I am continuing to read books about the FLDS. This book was interesting in that it is the first one I have read on this topic that has taken place quite recently. The author was just a young girl and is still a young woman, about the age of my son. I think it is amazing that people like Warren Jeffs could get away with the things he did in the U.S. and Canada, while those of us on the outside...more

This book was very interesting. It wasn't an "easy" read because you want to read every word to get all the details, not like in some fiction books you can skip over paragraphs and it won't matter to the overall affect of the book. I would recommend this book as a good read.
It's a book you read and can't believe that there are people out there like this. I couldn't put it down... it was very interesting learning about this sect that had been in the news recently. But it's also sad how this sect is destroying innocent lives. If for nothing else, read it to get educated on it.
